The Transition Skills Summary (TSS) is a snapshot of a child’s readiness for kindergarten based on 47 skills. The Transition Skills Summary is a communication tool that provides a snapshot of a child’s readiness for Kindergarten at the end of preschool. 

This information benefits the parents, kindergarten teachers, preschool and Summit County and can be shared with parents and the student’s kindergarten teacher. The TSS was developed and is administered by Summit Education Initiative.
